Show, don’t type.

Point at anything on your screen and say what should change. Your coding agent gets a brief with the screenshot already attached, and Deiko remembers every task, so the next chat picks up where the last one stopped.

Free and open source, for macOS 14 and newerno account, no card. Wake it with a double tap of Right Option.

Your agent is brilliant and blind

It can write the code. It cannot see your screen, and it cannot know which of nine buttons you meant by “this one”.

What you type today

The pencil on the second row, no, the other pencil, the Globex one, it opens the wrong invoice and then the drawer covers the total, I think it’s the edit one

So stop explaining. Point.

Invoices3 due this week
Acme Co.INV-2041$1,240.00Paid
GlobexINV-2042$860.00Due
InitechINV-2043$3,105.50Overdue

Watch the whole gesture

Point at the thing, say what is wrong, and it lands in your agent. No paragraph, no screenshot tool, no explaining where.

psst, click the screenIt pops out big. Two minutes of the real thing beats this whole page, honestly.
p.s.Yes, it’s slow on purpose so you can follow along. Doing it for real took me twenty seconds and zero typing.

Same bug on Friday? Deiko remembers Tuesday.

Every brief is filed with the piece of work it continues, so Friday’s agent is told what Tuesday’s already tried. Tap a task’s label to see what gets passed along. The cards move, too.

Project
Same bug, same taskDeiko looks at the page you’re on and what you said. Same piece of work? It joins that task. Can’t tell? The card asks “Which one?”.
Your agent reports backDone with a brief, your agent writes down what it did, decided and left open. The next brief on that task carries it along, whichever agent catches it.
It stays on your MacYour tasks and their notes live only on your Mac. Sorting a brief never sends a screenshot, and Deiko keeps nothing it’s sent.

Understood anywhere

Deiko does not care who is driving. If it has a text box, the brief lands there: file paths for agents on your Mac, images for chats in the browser.

No MCP server neededThe brief lands as plain text and images. Memory tools are an optional extra.

Works in airplane mode

Capture, crops, text recognition and the brief all happen on your Mac. With no network, or once this month's free hours run out, Apple's on-device recogniser takes over, and nothing is sent to Apple.

We don't need your data

Your Mac is the database. Your screenshots, board, briefs and personas live there, they only go where you throw them, and we keep no copy of any of it. No account, either. Tap a tile if you don’t believe us.

Push to start, never always onNothing is captured until you double-tap Right Option.
Credentials stay behindA crop that shows a key or a password is withheld, and the brief says so.
Bring your own keyUse your own transcription key and your voice skips our servers entirely.
Don’t take our word for itDeiko is open source, server and all, so every promise on this page is checkable in the code.

Every byte, accounted for

Home is your Mac. We don’t keep a spare.

Briefs in your flavour

One brief, three characters: a stickler for the board, a minimalist for the agent, an overthinker for the hard calls. Pick one per brief. Each is a plain file you own; rewrite it and it writes like you.

for a decision: what is going on, and the options
Pick one per briefThe review card says “Written up as QA ticket”, and that’s a menu. Switch it for one brief; your default stays put.
It can file it for youA QA ticket can ask your agent to file it in Jira, Linear, GitHub or Notion, and an analysis in Confluence or Notion. No tools for that? It writes it in the chat instead.
No making things upEvery persona ends with the same rule: use what you said and what the screenshots show. Anything missing gets “not stated”, never a guess.

Install it in one line
